Operational quality checklist
This checklist is for managers and helps keep the system dependable in day-to-day operation.
1. Daily check (each morning, before service)
- Open the dashboard and confirm the KPI cards, today's overview and alerts all load.
- Verify the reservation calendar works and a reservation detail opens.
- In the table map, check that occupancy matches today's reservations.
2. Weekly reservation check
- Go through pending reservations and confirm or reject them without unnecessary delay.
- Review the waitlist and clear out stale entries.
- Verify that reservation status changes make sense (pending, confirmed, completed, cancelled).
3. Weekly settings check
- Verify opening hours and exceptions (holidays, special days).
- Review menu items and update the daily/weekly offer if needed.
- Make sure contact details and business settings are up to date.
4. Guest communication check
- Verify that reservation confirmation emails are going out.
- If you use the newsletter, check the status of recent sends.
- If you use push notifications, verify that staff subscriptions are active.
5. Monthly content and appearance check
- Review the key website pages and confirm they display correctly in both languages.
- Check the look (colours, branding, logo) after any larger content change.
- Verify that the menu QR code points at the correct public page.
6. Onboarding a new colleague
Whenever the admin panel changes, verify that:
- a new staff member can find the dashboard, the calendar, the table map and a reservation detail,
- an admin additionally finds settings, events, menu, campaigns and billing,
- the introductory tour matches the current admin screens.
7. When to escalate immediately
Contact support straight away if:
- you cannot sign in to the admin panel,
- reservations do not save or disappear,
- guests stop receiving confirmation emails,
- the table map or the calendar shows nonsensical figures.
