👤 Role: Staff
The Staff role is for employees who work with reservations daily but don't need access to settings or billing.
Who should have this role?
- Waiters and serving staff
- Hosts and receptionists
- Shift supervisors without full management access
- Part-time workers
What Staff can do
Reservations
- ✅ View all reservations
- ✅ Create new reservations (phone, walk-in)
- ✅ Edit existing reservations (add note, change table, change status)
- ✅ Approve pending reservations
- ✅ Mark reservations as Completed or No-show
- ✅ Cancel reservations
Tables and occupancy
- ✅ View tables and their occupancy
- ✅ Assign a table to a reservation
Guests
- ✅ View guest records
Menu
- ✅ Add and edit menu items
- ✅ Update the weekly menu
Waitlist
- ✅ View and edit entries
What Staff CANNOT do
- ❌ Change reservation system settings
- ❌ Add or remove users
- ❌ View or change billing and subscription
- ❌ Edit website settings and pages
Push notifications for staff
After logging in, staff can activate push notifications to receive instant alerts when a new reservation is assigned to them.
