✏️ Managing Reservations

After a reservation is created, you can edit, approve, cancel, or complete it at any time.


Approving a pending reservation

If you have manual approval enabled, new reservations wait for your confirmation:

  1. On the dashboard in the "Approval Queue", click a reservation.
  2. Check the details: guest name, date, number of guests, special requests.
  3. Click Confirm or Decline.

After confirming, the system automatically sends the guest an email confirmation (if emails are enabled).


Editing a reservation

You can change at any time:

  • Date and time
  • Number of guests
  • Assigned table or staff member
  • Special requests
  • Reservation status

How to:

  1. Open the reservation details.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Make changes and save.

After saving changes, the system automatically sends the guest an update email (if emails are enabled).


Cancelling a reservation

Cancellation by staff or manager

  1. Open the reservation details.
  2. Change the status to Cancelled.
  3. Optionally enter a reason for cancellation (internal note).
  4. Save.

The guest will receive an email notification of the cancellation.

The guest can cancel the reservation themselves using the link in the confirmation or reminder email. This can be disabled in settings.

Marking as Completed

After the guest's visit:

  1. Open the reservation.
  2. Change the status to Completed.
  3. Save.

The system may automatically send the guest a review request (if enabled).


Marking as No-show

If the guest didn't arrive and didn't cancel:

  1. Open the reservation.
  2. Change the status to No-show.
  3. Save.

This is recorded in statistics and in the guest's profile.


Assigning a table

On the reservation details, in the Assigned Tables section, select one or more tables. The system shows only tables available at that time.

For large groups, multiple tables can be merged together.
