🎭 Event venue
An event venue sells tickets to specific events and hires out its halls alongside that. The admin panel is shaped accordingly.

What you can skip
Menu, weekly menu and the menu QR code have nothing to do with an event venue. Room types and overnight stays are a hotel thing.
The programme is the foundation
Everything rests on events. A ticket is never sold "just like that" — always for a specific event, with a specific date and price.
- Create the event under Marketing → Events.
- Fill in the name, date, place and a short description.
- Set up ticket types and how they're sold on the event.
- The event appears on the Programme page by itself and gets its own page.
The programme block on your website shows upcoming published events automatically. Create a new event and you don't have to add it anywhere — it shows up on its own.
The event page
Every published event gets its own page under /programme, for example
/programme/spring-concert. You'll find them under Website content → Events.
The page shows the visitor:
- the date and place,
- the event description,
- ticket types with prices and how many are left,
- a link to the Facebook event, if you filled one in,
- a button leading to the purchase of that event.
Linking to Facebook
If you also list the event on Facebook, paste the link into the Facebook event URL field on the event.
- The event page shows a Facebook event badge.
- The Load from Facebook button can prefill the name, description and date from the link — it fills empty fields only, so you never lose your own text.
Facebook sometimes returns nothing to bots. Fill the fields in by hand in that case — the event link still works and visitors see it normally.
Hall hire
Spaces for hire are kept separate from the programme:
- Operations → Spaces — the physical halls and their capacity,
- Website content → Spaces — their pages with photos and amenities for prospective hirers.
The programme and hire don't get in each other's way: a concert is sold as tickets, a hall is enquired about for a date.
