🏨 Hotel

A hotel differs from every other business type in one fundamental way: guests don't book a time, they book nights. They pick an arrival and a departure date, not an hour.

Your path through this help centre

The links lead into the shared half of the help centre. It is written in restaurant vocabulary — where it says table, read room type; where it says table map, read room layout.

What you can skip

Menu, weekly menu and QR code are restaurant modules and never appear in a hotel admin panel. Ticket sales apply only to event venues.

A room type is not a single room

Under Operations → Room types you don't create every room separately. One row = one room type, for example "Double room":

FieldMeaning
Room type nameWhat the guest sees — "Double room", "Suite with a view"
Beds per roomHow many guests fit in one such room
Count / concurrent capacityHow many rooms of that type you have

So "8 double rooms" is one row with capacity 2 and a count of 8. The system then keeps track of how many are free on any given night.

Per-night pricing

Under Operations → Services every room has its price. Two fields matter:

  • Duration typeFull day (a stay occupies whole days, not minutes)
  • Price is chargedPer night, or Per person per night

That way a three-night booking shows the guest the right total and no nonsensical "120 min" turns up anywhere.

Wellness and breakfast

Add extras such as parking or breakfast as services too, priced "per night" or "per person per night". A wellness entry that is booked by the hour gets Booking mode → Time slot — so a hotel can sell classic time slots alongside nights.

Arrival and departure

Under Settings → Reservation settings → Stays you set the check-in and check-out times (15:00 and 11:00 by default).

A stay ends on the morning of the departure day, not in the evening — so the room is free for the next guest that same day. A booking for the 12th–15th therefore occupies the nights of the 12th, 13th and 14th, and someone else can check in on the afternoon of the 15th.

Sold-out nights in the calendar

While picking dates, guests see sold-out nights struck through. If their range covers one of them, the system says so specifically ("15 August 2026 is already booked") and won't let them continue.

It's a hint, not a reservation

The calendar shows the state at the moment it loaded. The definitive check happens on submit — so someone else may take the last room in the meantime.

Room pages

Every room type can have its own page on your website — with a gallery, amenities and policies, the way you know it from Booking.com.

  1. Website content → Rooms lists all room pages.
  2. The quickest way to create one is from the service: open the room under Operations → Services and click Open item page in the right-hand column. The page is created, filed under the listing and linked — you don't have to fill anything in by hand.
  3. The same works from the other side, from Operations → Room types.

On the page you then add:

SectionWhat goes there
PhotosThe first photo leads the page, the rest open in the photo viewer
Key detailsFloor area, beds, view — short facts under the heading
AmenitiesPicked from a list; the page groups them automatically (Beds, Bathroom, View…)
PoliciesCheck-in and check-out, deposit, cancellation, pets

Price, capacity and availability are read from the linked service and room type — they are not editable on the page, so the website can never show a price different from the booking form.
