🧭 Pick your business type
Rezervos supports six business types and each one sees something different in the admin panel. A restaurant has a menu and a QR code, a hotel has room types and overnight stays, an event venue has a programme and tickets. A barbershop needs none of that — and never sees it.
Barbershops and salons work identically and differ only in wording, so we describe them together — which leaves five pages to choose from.
Pick yours. You get a page that says what is specific to you, what order to set things up in, and what you can safely skip in the rest of this help centre.
Side by side
| Business type | What guests book | How capacity is counted | What you get on top |
|---|---|---|---|
| 🍽️ Restaurant | A table at a given time | Guests per table | Menu, weekly menu, QR code on the table, event programme |
| 🏨 Hotel & guesthouse | A room for a number of nights | Free rooms of a type per night | Room types, per-night pricing, room pages with a gallery |
| 🎭 Event venue | A ticket to a specific event | Tickets against the event's capacity | Programme, ticket types, online sales, hall hire |
| 💇 Salon & barbershop | A treatment with a specific person | Chairs / stations, usually 1 client | Treatment catalogue, staff schedules, treatment pages |
| 🩺 Clinic | A procedure with a specific doctor | Consulting rooms, usually 1 patient | Procedure catalogue, consulting hours, procedure pages |
The business type is set when the business is created (System → Businesses → Business type). For the exact list of what it changes, see What changes with your business type.
What things are called in your business
What we generically call a "resource" has a different name in every business. The shared sections of this help centre use restaurant vocabulary — substitute your own term from this table:
| Business type | What it's called for you |
|---|---|
| Restaurant | Tables · Table map |
| Hotel & guesthouse | Room types · Room layout |
| Barbershop | Chairs · Chair layout |
| Salon | Stations · Station layout |
| Clinic | Consulting rooms · Room layout |
| Event venue | Spaces · Space layout |
What applies to everyone
Most of the system is shared, whether you sell lunch or a concert. In the left-hand menu this half sits under Common to every business type:
- Reservations and their statuses
- How guests book
- Notifications — email, SMS, push
- Staff and schedules
- Opening hours
- Roles and permissions
- Plans and subscription
The menu follows your business type. If you don't see Menu, for example, it's because your business type doesn't use one. You can change it under System → Businesses.
